About Us
Welcome and thank you for visiting! Runway To Success was founded in August 2020 in Alexandria, Virginia. Our team consists of professionals that bring a cumulative 20+ years of experience in mentorship and training plus over 5 years in the fashion and beauty industry.
We are passionate about connecting at-risk teenage girls with the resources, education, and mentors they need to kickstart their careers in the fashion industry.
Meet the Founder
Hello! I am Elizabeth T. Diamant, founder and CEO of Runway To Success (formerly Elizabeth Diamant Incorporated). Ever since I can remember my heart has been turned outwards - meaning I have always felt an overwhelming desire to assist others. Whether it is helping a friend navigate through a difficult situation, feeding the elderly, mentoring junior soldiers, or just helping a stranger on the street, philanthropy has been a major part of my life in one way or the other.
When I became a fashion designer in 2017, I quickly saw that there was a disparity in the equitable opportunities in fashion for black women compared to other sexes and races. I immediately knew that I wanted to build a bridge to close that gap and two years later, Runway To Success was formed. I am elated to pouring my heart’s desire into assisting others in this organization and I look forward to the great things we will do together.
